Pamela McDaniel, 69, of Charleston, West Virginia, was employed by the Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority, which administers HUD-funded housing programs. McDaniel embezzled more than $28,000 from the agency over a multi-year period. She pleaded guilty to conversion of public money and was sentenced by a federal judge to five years of probation with a restitution order of $17,543.92.
