Xubex Community Pharmacy — DEA Immediate Suspension and Revocation (2024–2025)

Outcome: DEA revoked Xubex Community Pharmacy's DEA registration effective February 24, 2025, after the pharmacy defaulted on an Order to Show Cause and Immediate Suspension of Registration issued May 29, 2024.

On May 29, 2024, the Drug Enforcement Administration issued an Order to Show Cause and Immediate Suspension of Registration (OSC/ISO) to Xubex Community Pharmacy of Casselberry, Florida. The agency alleged that the pharmacy's continued registration constituted an imminent danger to public health or safety under 21 U.S.C. § 824(d), and simultaneously proposed revocation on the ground that continued registration was inconsistent with the public interest under 21 U.S.C. § 824(a)(4).

On June 9, 2024, a representative of the pharmacy communicated to DEA that Xubex was taking default, declining to request a hearing or contest the allegations. DEA Administrator Anne Milgram signed the final Decision and Order on January 16, 2025. The order became effective February 24, 2025.

The DEA denied any pending applications of Xubex Community Pharmacy to renew or modify its registration, as well as any other pending applications for additional DEA registration in Florida. The case was published in the Federal Register on January 23, 2025.
